Montreal, Canada, February 6, 2001- AD OPT Technologies Inc. (AD OPT), a leading developer and vendor of advanced workforce management software, is pleased to announce the appointments of Mr. Paul Bourgon CA to the position of Divisional Vice-President, Altitude™ and Mr. Jean-Pierre Servant, LL.B., MBA to Divisional Vice-President, ShiftLogic™.

Mr. Bourgon brings experience in finance and international sales through several key positions with Nortel Networks (1989-1994). At Nortel, Mr. Bourgon rose to the position of Director of Sales for Eastern Europe, a position based out of Paris, France. His duties as Director of Sales included the establishment of distribution and joint venture agreements. Mr. Bourgon was previously employed at Roll-Royce Canada from 1996 to 2000 where he held several senior positions, including Vice President, Industrial Business with worldwide responsibilities for sales, marketing and operation of the Montréal division. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Mr. Bourgon was employed at Transcontinental Printing Inc. where he led eight corporate acquisitions.

Mr. Bourgon graduated from Concordia University in 1980 where he received a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He attained his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1983 while employed at Coopers & Lybrand where he worked from 1980 to 1984. He subsequently held senior positions at Rothmans Benson & Hedges as Controller and Director of National Sales from 1984 to 1989.

Mr. Servant brings ample sales and marketing experience to AD OPT, along with a solid legal background. Before joining AD OPT, Mr. Servant was Executive Vice-President at Groupe Québec Amérique, where he was in charge of all sales and marketing for the QA International and QA Digital divisions. Prior to that, Mr. Servant served as Vice-President, International Sales, and Marketing Manager for Groupe Québec Amérique. Before joining Groupe Québec Amérique, Mr. Servant was Regional Manager, Europe, and Sales Manager, Southwest United States, for Alis Technologies. Mr. Servant has also worked as a corporate finance lawyer for one of the largest law firms in Montreal.

Mr. Servant has an MBA in Marketing and International Management from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Montreal, Quebec. Mr. Servant also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a certificate in Economics from the University of Montreal. He has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 1990.

Mr. Bourgon and Mr. Servant will jointly assume the responsibilities formerly carried out by AD OPT's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Peter Alessi who is no longer with the company.
